The much awaited film ‘Fighter’ directed by Siddharth Anand has released in theaters today i.e. 25th January. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Being India’s first aerial film, the audience’s enthusiasm about it is sky high. The film’s trailer and songs have also stirred up critics. The film is presented as a tribute to the sacrifices and patriotism of the Indian Armed Forces. A day before the release, a special screening was held at Yash Raj Studios for industry colleagues, attended by Hrithik’s ex-wife Sussanne Khan and girlfriend Saba Azad and several other stars.
Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife Sussanne Khan along with her sons arrived at YRF studios for the screening. Hrithik along with family members including his cousin Pashmina Roshan and sister Sunaina Roshan were seen arriving in the same car with girlfriend Saba Azad.
Talking about ‘Fighter’, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given the green signal to the film after making four amendments. First the anti-smoking static message was asked to be given in Hindi. Second, the offending word was muted or changed in two dialogues, one at 53 minutes and the other at 1 hour 18 minutes. Third, sexually suggestive scenes were removed. Finally, 25 seconds of audio in the TV news scene was removed and replaced with 23 seconds of audio. The run time of ‘Fighter’ is 2 hours 46 minutes.

‘Fighter’ is produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures. It marks the directorial debut of Siddharth Anand and his wife Mamata Anand. Apart from Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan, the film also stars talented actors like Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Talat Aziz, Sanjeev Jaiswal, Rishabh Sahni and Ashutosh Rana. The film has hit the theaters today i.e. 25th January.
