Made with a huge budget of 250 crores, the film collected 600 crores worldwide. Out of which the film earned 340 crore rupees in India. Leo’s film has been the second highest grosser in South films this year. Rajinikanth starrer ‘Jailor’ remains at number one. The film Leo earned 204 crore rupees from overseas.
The Oscar-winning hero reached out to the President
The film Leo created a stir as soon as it was released in America. The film had a direct competition at the box office with Leonardo DiCaprio’s ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’. Oscar-winning hero Leonardo DiCaprio and director Martin Scorsese’s film fell behind Leo in terms of earnings. The film earned 300 crore rupees worldwide. Leo’s worldwide earnings crossed 600 crores. In this regard, Leonardo DiCaprio met the President and advised him to reserve some theaters for domestic films.
